Meet Mrs. Weekender - you might have met her during last weekend's bender - she was that Mrs who was super chic and slender - but then again, you might not remember! Either way, she's a splendidly stellar lady - and if you ask me she's got it pretty madey in the shadey! Her life consists of constant weekend trips - ususally jetting off on luxury cruise ships. Not the kind that are the floating resorts - but the ones that pull into private and exotic ports. She has unlimited travel vouchers - to locales that don't cater to slouchers. She's keenly well versed in how to pack - the things she fits in her bag, my she's got the knack! She always travels with refreshments and a delightful read - when you think about it, it's all you really need. When she travels, she's quite the wordly Mrs - when abroad she always greets with two cheek kisses. She explores all her destination's hidden gems - and then records them in her travel journal as lovely little poems. She's good about keeping her trips short and sweet - you'd be surprised at what in a weekend she can complete. This is Mrs. Weekender, you kinda want to hate her - but you never know you just might meet up with her sooner or later.

If you ever get invited into a Mrs.'s abode - it's a sight to see, so I've been told! Now when you go, ask to see her jewel box - it's probably on her dresser under a pile of frocks.  Apparently she's got a wicked collection of ice - and from what I hear she doesn't wear anything twice! Of course she'll start by showing you her Mrs ring - it's a bazillion carats and all kinds of bling. Next, she'll whip out her classics - pearls and diamonds with countless facets. Your eyes may twirl just by the sight of it all - but you swoon on and can't help but love it all. Assuming she shows you something glorious and vintage - your astounded that it's old since it's condition is mintage. She'll pull out something sacred she holds quite dear - like her Aunty Mimi's stickpins from yesteryear. And just when you thought it couldn't get any better - she shows you something totally red-letter. Like her galaxy cocktail ring, my what a stunner - you put it on and exclaim "what could be funner?!" Her trove of jewels at this point seems bottomless - just like the belly of a hungry hippopotamus. With her discernible love of clip-ons - one might wonder if this Mrs is from the bygones. As the baubles, bangles rings and things - continue to pour out into a pile of blings - "wait, there's more!" is what she sings. Oh the stories, oh the jewels - she goes on and on as you drools! Once you get her started she talks and talks - about these amazing treasures she keeps in her Mrs. Jewel Box. Lookout!... here comes Mrs. Flower Show - she's a Mrs on a Flower Show mission y'know. In early spring she keeps her schedule clear - for it's flower show season and she goes every year. She gets gussied up just to go to it - she blocks off time to make a delightful day of it. This Mrs is lovely and ladylike - keeping her bag, shoes and gloves all white. She plans accordingly to have all her preferred amenities - like a double flask of St. Germain and Spanish Brandy - you know, all the flower show going necessities. She spends her sweet time taking it all in - she stops to smell the roses and sports an intoxicating grin. In front of the dahlias is where she'll stay a while - as she journals her flowery thoughts to keep on file. She'll prance through the perennials - and impresses all the flower show curatorials. Because her attendance is often annual - she's seemingly become a flower show manual. And not for nothing, but I think you should know - it's this Mrs who crowns the best in show. All hail this most marvelous Mrs. Brunch - she was bound to come along sooner or later, I had a hunch. She's perfectly casual although painstakingly foxy - she gallivants around with all sorts of moxy. This Mrs is considerably colorful and I'd say rather dashing - and she pulls off her innate style with out overly clashing. She paints her nails a super shade of sunny side up - and, in perfect brunching spirit she brings her own monogrammed cup. She prefers to be comfortable while she eats - in lieu of pumps she wears fashionable flats on her feets.  She takes her brunching rather seriously - being that it's her only meal she consumes quite fearlessly. On occasion her tastes change, though she loves her some French toast - yet it's the multiple mimosas that I think she enjoys the most. Eggs Benny and crispy bacon she'll certainly be munching - like I said she prominently goes all out while she's brunching. If one day you happen to run into her while out and about - she'll probably invite you along to brunch, no doubt! She's tons of fun and super punchy - oh how we love this adorable Mrs. Brunchy!

It is with divine pleasure that I deem every first Friday - a Mrs Literary book club day! Each month I'll announce a fabulous new Mrs read - in which you will take the month to finish the deed. I'll throw in some corresponding goodies to go along - to aid in the fun you'll have all month long. And when the time comes to meet again - we'll discuss the best parts of the who what and when. The books bestowed will be literary works of wonder - things you wouldn't normally get your Mrs head under. Mrs. Sunset is a glowing Mrs you see - she glitters something fierce and fancy free. She prefers warm sunsetty hues - and bedecks as such from her jewels to her shoes. She shows up looking adorable and somewhat paper doll-ish - she takes creative freedoms and paints her nails with alternating polish. This is a Mrs who works diligently all day - and at sunset treats herself to a bottle of good of Rosé. This Mrs is a delightful little treasure - her warmth is beyond any measure and being in her company is an absolute pleasure! She's a righteous and peachy coquette - that dazzling Mrs. Sunset!

A Mrs bag is the keeper of many secrets untold, so let's unlock the mystery of this bag that she holds. Whether oversized or tiny, it's contents are always numerous - they are all her necessities and some rather humorous. She'd wouldn't be caught dead with out a ravishing shade of lipstick - and never without her phone, aka her constant sidekick. With stacks of Mrs business cards in a stylish carrying case - she hands them out and remembers every name and face. She's certain to always have a perfectly stocked wallet - filled with so much cash that you'd choke if you saw it! She has on hand at all times - a little change purse filled with quarters and dimes. On her keys she keeps a mini flask - keeping it filled is quite a constant task! At times she prefers to stay stealth and disguisey - so she carries big sunglasses to sneak out post sunrisey. Certainly by now you've noticed she's an occasional smoker - it's fantasias that she fancies... you just gotta know her. Perfectly prepared with polish for the accidental chip - and sen-sens to freshen up after a juicy French dip! And there you have it all the wonderment and swag - the very contents that's inside a Mrs bag!

Mrs. Cooks-A-Lot is domestically delightful - in the kitchen she is culinarily insightful. She's a classic Mrs with modern sensibilities - perfectly costumed and equipped with all the essential utilities. Her food preparation skills are undoubtedly razor sharp - she can butcher, truss and roast a duck while in the dark. She's rather fluent with French cuisine - her meals are presentation perfect and worthy of a foodie magazine. She's won't shy away from tricky seafood dishes - she'll take requests and exceed your mouthwatering wishes. Her dinner parties are things of legends - she's known to astound her guests with her tasty inventions. I'm pretty sure it's the special elixir that she fills her cup - as to why she's so happy while she's whipping something up. You'll never really know what it is that she throws in her gold pot - she keeps her recipes secret [as she should] she's Mrs. Cook-A-Lot.

This is Mrs. Mingle, she's quite the smooth talker - what a mighty conversationalist, but that's no shocker. She always shows up undoubtedly prepared - for a long night of mingling, and juicy gossip to be shared. She keeps in her purse a stack of Mrs cards - leaving them with only the most valiant vanguards. She inadvertently steals all the eyes - but keeps herself a mystery because she's oh so wise. She knows how to work the crowd and navigate the who's-who - she's queen of the proper introduction how-to.  This Mrs knows her drinks and orders them well - she's a fancies the sidecars can't you tell? And, if the night perhaps grows tired - she'll have the cocktails topped off by the wait staff she hired. She's a Mrs who really knows how to have fun - she'll be the Mrs you remember after the night is done. She's Mrs. Mingle... a Mrs who's deserving of her very own jingle!

She's an Aquarian goddess who likes to set herself apart - she's a magnificent Mrs. after my very own heart!

Here we have Mrs. Downtown - she's a spritely Mrs who knows her way around. She's rather stealth and oh so transit-chic - she's an about-the-town Mrs who's certainly unique. She's the best Mrs to ask where to go - even if it's something rare - I swear - she'll know! She's got a wickedly chic fashion inclination - she's always the best dressed Mrs in the subway station. She's the Mrs who's all hipped out and mix-matchy - She's the one directing eye traffic who's quite the catchy. She'd be delighted to meet you for lunch on the lower east side - then she might possibly hit the boutiques in Brooklyn... she just can't decide. Either way she'll remember her day about town so happy - because she never leaves her apartment without her Lomo fisheye snappy. All hail this city-chic mistress - she's the best doing in the downtown districts!
