I love the idea of a High Tea... a gaggle of gals, proper cups and saucers, ferociously fabulous hats, lots of gossip [glorious gossip!] but I'd be lying if I said I loved tea [gag!] No stimulants? No buzz?? No thanks!!! I mean really, why bother?! If I were however to host a High Tea, hot tea toddies would be the drink du jour. All you need is a splash of sauce for the pot [I recommend vodka] and High Tea quickly becomes HIGH TEA! Serve said exhilarating elixir in some marvelous mugs and let the good times roll! Tipsy talk loves company and any good hostess knows to never leave her lady guests noshless [never!] Move over finger sandwiches - there's no time for you, instead an assortment of decadent tidbits to treat them will do. High Tea is looking good, High Tea is looking up, find a hat, come on over - I'll pour you a cup!
